• Canoes cannot get closer than 10 metres (35 feet) to any fish farm or bamboo (holding fishing nets)
• Canoes cannot get closer than 10 metres (35 feet) to any shoreline (the Lake shoreline is all private land)
• Guests cannot exit the canoes anywhere on the shoreline of Lake Batur apart from the C.Bali Launching point
  
• Care must be given around the Pura Jati Temple, and canoes should not get close to the statues or touch the Temple, Temple bridge or any water Statues (inappropriate poses in front of the Temple or Statues is strictly prohibited)
• The life jacket provided must be warn at all time - or the Harbour Police will fine you
  
• Canoes cannot cross in front of a local motorized boat
• Canoe Guests must dress modestly on the Lake - Lake Batur is a sacred Lake
• Canoes cannot get closer than 10 metres to the Kedisan Harbour (pier) - fines will be given by the Harbour Police should a guest try to dock at the pier

• Please supervise your children at all times
• Please do not let your children sit on the canoes when they are not in the water
• Please ensure your children are supervised at all times
• Please do not let your children stand up the canoes
• Please do not let your children walk on the farms next to the path to the Lake
• Please ensure children do not pick any of the crops in the farms

• Please do not sit on the canoes when they are not in the water
• Please do not get into your canoe unless you are in at least in 1 foot of water
• Please do not drag the canoe on the ground
• Please carry the canoe as instructed by our staff
• Please wait for instructions from our staff on how to enter your canoe
• Please allow the staff to assist you in entering and exiting the canoe
• Canoes cannot be rented and then used by other people

• The canoes cannot tip over, unless you stand up in them.
• Please wear the life jacket provided at all times - you will be fined by the harbour police if you do not (and we could lose our license)
• Please do not worry if you drop your paddle in the water, they float.
• If the winds pick up in the direction away from the launching point, please allow time to return.
• Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
  
• Children under 4 years are not permitted
• If you have never kayaked or canoed before, allow 10 minutes beforehand for our staff to train you
• Medium fitness level is required for this activity
• Max capacity per tandem canoe is 2 persons or 180kg (400 pounds) including gear 
• Max capacity for single canoe is strictly 1 person no more than 120kg (265 pounds) including gear 
• Max capacity for three person canoe is 2-3 persons or including gear 270kg (600 pounds) 

We have set times that we are allowed on the Lake, we must adhere to these times.

We cannot be on the Lake on religious days.

We cannot be on the Lake when it is dark.

Foreigners are not allowed to act as Guides to other tourists in the canoes.

Our canoes are for tourism purposes only and not to be used for any financial gain.

No third party may pass themselves off as the owner, guide or renter of our canoes.

Any professional photo shoots using our canoes must be approved in writing by the Harbour police and a shooting fee will payable to the Dinas Perhubungan danu batur. C.Bali are not responsbile for this, all permissions must be obtained by the renter in advance and shown to C.Bali staff before renting.

Lake Batur is an important body of Water to all of the Balinese people and should be treated as one of Bali Religious destinations, as such there are times of the year and some times of the day due to religious ceremonies that that no boating/canoes can be on the Lake, we must adhere to these dates/times

Lake Batur is the "Holy Lake", therefore you must dress modestly on the Lake

No short shorts, no tank tops, no midriff tops, no bikinis
