Payment can be made in our office by credit card, cash or QRIS. - no fees
Guests need to know
Lake wind conditions can change suddenly and dramatically between 11.30am and 2.30 pm, only experienced/fit guests should go during these times.
We can fit a total 9 adults at one time If small children, we have seats for 10). Canoes cannot be hired and then used for extra people (such as sharing hired canoes and swapping people)
Weight capacity
Max weight for per tandem canoe is 220kg (485 pounds) due to Canoe Safety regulations. We have one single that one person can use if over 110kg, or our larger canoe, if available (best to book)
Children
Children must be over 4 years of age (3 if they can sit still for 1 hour)
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
ID
Under the government regulations one original photo ID from the group must be presented. Our staff will take a photo of the ID should the harbour authorites require it.
Security Payable
A refundable cash security deposit of cash 200,000 IDR is required at the time of rental (or leave your original ID, or motorbike/car key)
How many fit in a canoe?
Need to fit more people?
If you have small children, we can fit 1 adult and 2 small children in our 3 tandem canoes. It is only 50,000 IDR extra.
For 3 small adults/teenagers, they can fit in our Family Canoe. There is a weight limit and you cannot be too tall. Only 2 people will paddle.
If you are two tall adults, you can have our Family Canoe for the same price as our Tandem, if it is available. You may wish to book ahead to ensure it is available.
Canoeing Style
Our tanden and Family canoes are designed for 2 people to paddle.
The are high sided and our seats have back supports to keep you upright. They are non tip. Children must remain seated at all times.
You might feel like having a lie down as they are so comfortable, but you do need to sit up to paddle.
Keep you eye on your surroundings. You are in an inflatable canoe, so you need to avoid bumping into anything. Such as the bamboo fish farms.
Please preserve this area, do not attempt to go to shore anywhere apart from our bay. The shoreline is all private farming land.
If you visit the temple, be aware of the water level. In the dry season the water level will be low and there are large foundation rocks under the water surrounding the Temple. So, at that time of year, do not pass the statues.
