Terms & Conditions

Wherever used herein, the term “equipment” shall include any equipment rented from C.Bali. Wherever used herein, the term “customer” shall refer to any rider renting a bicycle from C.Bali.  Wherever used herein, the term “customer” shall refer to any rider renting a bicycle from C.Bali.

NO LONG TERM RENTALS

Bicycles cannot be taken out of the area and are not available for long terms rentals. The customer may rent a bicycle if staying in the area at the 24 hour rate for a maximum of four (4) x 24 hours.

COLLECTION/PICK UP

The customer understands that C.Bali does not deliver or collect bicycles to/from hotels.

The customer understands that bicycles are not to be left anywhere for collection. Bicycles can only be collected/returned to our office/shop.

It is the responsibility of the customer to return to bicycles to our office/shop at on, or before the time specified in their rental agreement. The Customer is to pay a penalty to C.Bali for late returns.

The customer understand that bicycles must be rented and collected by the rider in person and returned by the rider in person to our office. No third party can rent a bicycle for a rider. 

PHOTO ID

The customer understands that each rider must present themselves at our office together with photo ID to rent a bicycle (copy on phone ok).

SECURITY DEPOSIT

The customer agrees that cash security deposits are payable per bicycle to hire and will be refunded after the bicycles has been returned and inspected by our staff.

The customer agrees to allow time for C.Bali staff to check the bicycles upon return.

• Daily hire (1-8 hours) - Rp 200,000 per bicycle (Photo ID can be left in substitute for a cash security)
• 8- 24 hour hire Rp 500,000 per bicycle (Original Passports can be left as a substitute for cash security)

SUBLEASING PROHIBITED

Customer understands and agrees that any subleasing of any rental equipment is strictly prohibited.

MAINTENANCE, TUNING AND RESPONSIBILITY
Although all our bikes are professionally serviced before available for rent, C.Bali will cover the cost of damages due to equipment failures beyond the renters control; i.e. worn parts.  Any deficiencies must be communicated to C.Bali at the time of renting of the equipment, or within the 1^st hour of rental.  If the renter is required to have the part replaced in order to return the bicycle, to be eligible for a refund on such parts and service, you must provide C.Bali with a photo of the damaged or worn parts and an invoice for new parts or services. C.Bali is responsible for structural deficiencies such as damaged frames, worn bottom brackets, suspension and wheel hubs.  C.Bali is not responsible for the following occurrences during bike rental:  
punctures / broken spokes / broken chains / broken derailleurs / broken drop-outs / wheel rim damage / torn saddles / stripped threads on pedal crank / damage beyond the control of C.Bali and resultant of rider use or misuse. 

RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS
Customer agrees he/she will return the equipment in the same good condition as when received, ordinary wear and tear accepted, and to repair and replace lost or stolen, damaged or broken bicycles or parts or to reimburse C.Bali for said equipment. Therefore regardless of the party at fault, customer understands and agrees to be responsible for the theft, loss or damage to said equipment.

CUSTOMER LIABILITY
Customer shall assume liability for any and all damage or loss of and to personal property, accident / injury to other persons related to said rental equipment.

C.Bali, and its employees shall not be responsible for personal injuries or property damage, loss or delay incurred by any person arising out of the act of negligence of any direct or supplemental carrier or other person rendering any of the services or products being offered in these rentals; nor shall C.Bali be responsible for any injuries, death, damage, loss or delay in any means or by reasons of any event beyond the actual control of C.Bali, or their staff, or due to force majeure. 

C.Bali strongly recommend the use of the provided helmets whenever mounted on a bicycle. Helmets are provided at no extra cost. The bicycles provided for use are in very good operating condition and participants agree to use them at their own risk or call deficiencies to the attention of the company at the time of hire. ​Individual bike specifications are subject to change based on availability of replacement components. Instruction in the use, assembly and maintenance of bicycles will not be provided and participants affirm that they are competent and familiar with the use of a multi-speed bicycle.
