Nusa Dua is famous for its 5 star resorts and white sand beaches. However, Nusa Dua Resorts is a gated complex known as Kawasan Pariwisata Nusa Dua, this manicured area was made to house the Bali Convention Centre, a world class golf course, and of course the 5 star luxury resorts, all with their amazing beachfront locations.


 However, there is still a village of Nusa Dua outside these gates, and the village of Tanjung Benoa, where the water sports are all located and offers a local beachside village feel

Nusa Dua is on the Southern coast Peninsula, on the opposite to Uluwatu. 

 The famous resort area can feel a world away from Bali, with its pristine hotels and manicured gardens.

 Nusa Dua village is slightly inland, and a bustling little village, however there is not much accomodation in the actual village for tourists.


Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua is its own Peninsula with 2 coastlines, it offers a real village feel, with various hotel choices, lots of great restaurants, spas, shopping, and of course the famous water sports

Nusa Dua can be accessed by 2 highways, the newer highway being a toll road over the ocean, and offers a quick trip of 20 minutes to Nusa Dua Resorts and 30 minutes to Tanjung Benoa.

You will find taxis everywhere in Tanjung Benoa  to take you to Southern parts of Bali, however it is best to get a driver for longer trips or day trips
