Terms & Conditions of Obtaining a sponsored tourist visa through our company
Our Terms and Conditions for obtaining a visa should answer all your questions.
Address in Indonesia
C.Bali do not offer their address to be used in Bali. The tourist must provide the address of a hotel or villa for their application (an address is an immigration requirement). You do not require proof of a hotel booking for your visa application. The accommodation/lodging must register the tourist as staying at their accommodation (under Immigration Law)
Applicant - The Main Applicant
C.Bali considers The Main Applicant as the person applying on behalf of their spouse or their own children (other Applicants). C.Bali will use The Main Applicant's email address for all contact, including giving that email address to immigration for sending the e-visa. C.Bali will not process visa applications for third parties (such as other agents, travel agents etc).
Other Applicants (discounts)
Other Applicants are children (on birth certificate) of the Main Applicant or the Main Applicants spouse living at the same address. Other Applicants must be travelling together on the same flights and staying in the same hotel with the same travel dates.
Other Applicants are not other members of the family, such as parents or siblings or in-laws.
Cancellation/Refunds
Allow up to 7 business days for all refunds
If you cancel your visa application before we start (you have not uploaded or sent us any documents), there will be a 5% administration fee to refund your payment full payment.
If you cancel your visa application before we apply with immigration (you have already uploaded/sent your documents), the refund will be 1,000,000 IDR per person (less any PayPal Fees).
If you cancel your visa application and we have already applied with immigration, we cannot refund your payment. (We always provide proof of application/payment to immigration)
If payment is made by bank transfer, refunds will only be made to the clients; bank in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah)
If payment is made by PayPal, PayPal fees are not refundable.
Cancellation of our Service
We reserve the right to cancel our service, and only refund the immigration fees, should you provide falsified documents (such as fake airline tickets, bank statements, marriage certificates, etc), this is a serious offence in Indonesia and we will not continue our service to apply as your sponsor.
Document Checking
C.Bali do not check any documents without being paid.
If a client is unsure if their bank statements or other documents are suitable, they must pay C.Bali if that want our staff to check their documents.
Extending the Visa
C.Bali will only extend a visa if the client can show the most current bank statement that they still have over US$2000 in their bank account.
C.Bali reserves the right to not extend a visa if they believe the tourist has done any illegal activity during their stay in Indonesia, such as working,etc.
Financial Sponsorship
Immigration sees genuine tourists as those that can support themselves financially while holidaying, and are not dependent on others. Therefore, unless they are your children, you cannot financially support another person's holiday.
For individuals - Unless you have had at least a US$2000 balance in your own bank account for the past 3 months, you cannot apply for a tourist visa and we will not be able to accept your application. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet this requirement before paying for our service.
For over 18 years of age, you are considered an adult and must meet all requirements, including bank accounts.
Genuine Tourist
Immigration sees genuine tourists as the following:
- They will be staying in a hotel(s) or legal villa, during their time in Indonesia
- Has a job to return to in their country (can be retired).
- Has the funds to cover their costs while in Indonesia (See above financial sponsorship).
- Has a paid return and issued ticket to their home country (or a through ticket for another holiday to another country)
- Does not work while in Indonesia or volunteer, paid or unpaid
- Does not provide any service or work with any individual/company in Indonesia (paid or not paid), such as marketing, design, modelling, photography, etc
If the tourist does not meet the above criteria, then each case will be up taken on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by our Main Director.
Please note immigration may reject a visa application if the tourist has ever overstayed a visa in Indonesian previously.
A visa application will not be accepted if the tourist has ever been deported from Indonesia.
Tourist must obey all laws in Indonesia or their Visa will be cancelled and they will be deported. Immigration Offers have the right to deport tourists for breaching the law, including traffic infringements (such as not wearing a helmet or carrying an International Driving Permit), or not paying for their accommodation/meals, disturbing the peace, entering sacred sites without approval and registered guide, dressing inappropriately
Length of Visa
60 days (extendable up to 180 days)
Our Agency
We are a licensed travel agency (biro perjalanan wisata), we do not do business visas, we only do tourist visas.
We do not outsource our visa work to other agents.
Our Rights to Refusal
Due to the risks of sponsorship, we retain the right to refuse any application for a visa, without giving any reason.
- We will not accept any applications for a visa for any person that has previously been deported or has overstayed their visa in Indonesia.
- We will not accept any application for a visa if we suspect the person is not a genuine tourist.
- We will not accept applicants for persons 18 years and younger unless travelling with their parents.
- We will not accept any application that is not complete, we will not provide any falsified documents for our clients.
- We will not accept any application where we suspect the person may wish to work in Indonesia - paid or unpaid (that includes retreat leaders, yoga instructors, dive instructors, musicians, photographers, models or DJ’s)
Our Risks - Sponsorship
Our Main Director is personally liable for sponsorship of a tourist and can face up to five years imprisonment or a fine of up to 500,000,000 IDR for breach of immigration laws.
We are responsible for each applicant during their time in Indonesia. Sponsorship involves the personal liability of our Main Director.
Payment to Us
Payment can be made by PAYPAL (and Credit Card/Debit Card) - PayPal fee is 4.4%, in any accepted currency, or Local bank transfer in IDR (no fee from us). For bank transfer we can only accept Indonesian Rupiah to our company bank account, you cannot send in another currency.
If payment of our invoice for a visa is not made within 24 hours of issue, we reserve the right to cancel the invoice due to fluctuating foreign exchange rates.
Our Pricing Conditions
We base our price on the amount of work required for our staff to do to apply for your visa, this includes how many documents you provide us and communication with the Main Applicant and applicable taxes.
Other Applicants (spouse/children) must live at the same address and be travelling with the Main Applicant on the same flight and staying in the same hotel.
Our Pricing Policy
Prices are based on the current immigration fees and the work involved for our staff with each file. Any extra work done on a file after a visa is issued will need to be paid for.
There are no discounts for Spouse or children on Travel Document holders (no passport).
Responsibility of Clients to provide required documents and in a timely manner
- By requesting an invoice for a visa it is deemed you are engaging our services and have read the terms and conditions
- By making payment to us it is deemed you understand the terms and conditions
- By making payment to us, it is deemed you accept responsibility for providing all documents required under immigration law to obtain a visa.
- By making payment to us, it is deemed that you accept responsibility for providing all documents required in a timely manner.
- We take no we take no responsibility for any losses incurred due to immigration office closures, or immigration system outages.
- If we discover after checking your documents that you cannot meet the requirements, then we take no responsibly for any losses incurred.
- If you choose not to continue with your application after our advice not to, we will refund the immigration fees only.
- If you instruct us to continue with your application knowing you do not meet the requirements and immigration rejects your application, we take no responsibility for any losses incurred.
- If you instruct us to proceed with your application with the knowledge you do not have much time, and your visa is not ready for your flight date, we take no responsibility for any losses incurred.
Requesting an Invoice
By requesting an invoice for a visa it is deemed you are engaging our services and have read the terms and conditions.
C.Bali reserves the right to cancel an invoice if not paid within 24 hours.
C.Bali will not re-issue a cancelled invoice.
Type of Visa
211A Tourism. (Visa Kunjungan Wisata) 211A (C1) - 60 days (extendable).
Offshore only (Meaning you are not in Indonesia)
With this visit visa, you are permitted to:
Visit Indonesia for Tourism Purposes
Attend meetings, incentives, conventions, as an attendee (not as a speaker or facilitator)
Our Work
We do not check any documents until we have been paid.
A considerable amount of our time is spent checking documents and strictly no documents will be looked at before payment is made.
Once a tourist pay for our service and send documents, we carefully review each of document and advise if there are any more documents required or any need to be re-submitted.
We provide a clear guide with examples of how each document looks and we reserve the right to charge extra if there are multiple times that we have to request documents to be re-submitted when it is obvious that the tourist is ignoring our instructions/Document Guides.
If it is found after checking the documents that the client is not eligible for a visa and a solution cannot be found to apply, then a refund will be given as per the cancellation terms.
C.Bali will not put in an application with immigration if it will be rejected.
Timing to obtain a Visa
Once we have all the required documents from you we require time to check all your documents, format your documents, work on your file, produce sponsor letters and then apply with immigration.
Timing will depend on you providing the payment and correct documents and on time.
We take no responsibility if your visa is not issued on time due to you leaving it too late to apply or not having your documents ready on time for us to apply with immigration.
We reserve to right to refuse an application that has a flight date of less than 10 business days away.
We will not be responsible for any losses that occur due to the Immigration Visa system becoming unavailable (due to routine system maintenance or Force Majeure), and we will advise our clients in writing within 12 hours of becoming aware of any system outages.
Visa Expiry
You have 90 days to use the visa, meaning you must enter Indonesian within 90 days from the date of issue, or the visa will expire, and it cannot be renewed, and no refund is given by immigration for not using the visa.
You then may stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days. You may extend the visa with us, no less than 14 days before expiry
Should your trip be delayed and you cannot use the visa, you will need to apply again if the visa was issued more than 90 days ago.
Visas for Your Children
For every child under 21 years of age (the Main Applicant applying for a visa with our company must be listed as a parent on every child's birth certificate for the price quoted above).
If you have different dynamics in your family (such as children from different parents, living at different addresses), we will require separate applications (Separate Main Applicants).
