We start by picking you up from your hotel around 7.00am (Ubud area 8.00am) in late model comfortable AC vehicles and head to the beauty of the Kintamani region where you will enjoy a full breakfast overlooking the stunning Lake Batur under the shadow of magnificent Mt Batur, a still active volcano
Canoe the Lake
After Breakfast we take you out on your canoe (inflatable kayak) on the 'holy lake' and share this great experience, only with local fishermen, after paddling out you can literally put your feet up and enjoy the stillness of the Lake. This is an experience only offered by C.Bali and one not to be missed!
Top Quality Mountain Bikes
After canoeing we will ensure you have the correct size dual suspension mountain bikes ready to take you through the small gangs of rural villages. These bikes are designed for comfortable riding so you don't feel the bumps on our rough mountain tracks. The childrens' bikes are also dual suspension with shimano gears and disk brakes for complete saftey. Helmets and safety instructions are given.
View local traditional homes
Kedisan still has many traditionally made homes which can be viewed on this tour, from grass huts to ornate and beautifully designed family compounds. You will get off the bikes to walk and learn about the design of these homes.
Experience Village Life
During the tour you will have the rare opportunity to view family temples, meet the locals and see how life is in a remote village, great for families, let your children see the differences between the cultures. This part of the tour allows you time to ask questions and really learn about the traditional balinese culture. As we have lived in this village, you will be welcomed as our guests for the day by all those you meet along the way. We also visit the local Primary School.
Cycle around the Lake
Stunning views only obtainable by a small mountain road. After touring the village you will cycle on a small back road cut in the edge of the mountain, stopping along the way for breathtaking photos. This ride is considered easy by many, we do stop many times along the way so you can really take in this magnificent area. We consider the bicycles as a environmentaly friendly way to see this area, this is not a long bike ride, it is a gentle slow ride..
End the Day
You will end your day with a traditional Balinese lunch (all produce grown in the surrounding farms) seated overlooking Lake Batur, allowing time to cool down before we take you back to your hotel, you should arrive back around 5.00pm (Ubud area 4.00pm).
