High Traffic Jam Roads
Due to one way road systems in parts of Bali, drop off to some hotels takes a long time, stuck in major traffic jams (sometimes 1km =1 hour) so, it can be so much quicker to walk.
Kuta - Hotels on Jalan Pantai or to access your hotel via Jalan Pantai can be dropped on Jalan Legian to walk through or there is a surcharge
Legian - to be dropped in Jalan Werkudara we need to go up to Seminyak and onto Jalan Double Six to enter, we won't charge you any extra if you are willing to be dropped in front of the Jayakarta Hotel
Kerobokan - Jalan Kayu Ayu (also known as Laksmana, Oberoi), this road constantly changes it's direction, it may be quicker to be dropped at the begining of the road
Kerobokan - Jalan Pettinget in peak season only, or off this road, comes to a standstill for hours in the evening so better to walk
Ubud - Jalan Monkey Forest in peak season comes to a stand still, much faster to walk
So, if you are willing to walk there are much shorter routes to walk (very safe, down small lanes etc) so you are back at your hotel much faster.
