We are a Dutch and Australian couple that moved to Bali to live in the village of Kedisan, Kintamani. Kedisan sits in the base of a volcanic crater on the edge of Lake Batur and has the most magnificent views that we never stop appreciating and want to share with others.
We have just recently moved to the South of Bali but feel very lucky to have lived In Kedisan for 2 years, 2 hours from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist areas and an area free of traffic jams and high rise buildings, where traditions are not forgotten. We are the only Westerners to live full time in the region and we understand that we will always be visitors here and to continue acceptance needed to adopt the Balinese way of life.
Our mission is to strengthen tourism in Kedisan and the economy and to make steps towards environmental quality and a sustainable future for the community.
We wish to bring awareness of this beautiful area of Bali by bringing small groups of tourists to the area with as little environmental impact as possible.
Our goal is to help the community of Kedisan with environmental and non environmental issues, bringing employment opportunities through better tourism practices and improving the welfare of the community of Kedisan without impacting on their culture.
